Kids Jain Premier League Rules
|
- All 10 players will play every match.
- All teams will be divided into two groups A and B (3 teams each).
- Each team will play 2 matches in the league stage as per group.
- For every win, 2 points will be allotted. Likewise, 1 point will be allotted in case of a Tie.
- In case of points being tied, net run rate will be taken into account to determine team standings.
- The pitch will be 42 feet long. The box dimensions are 4 feet x 5 feet.
- The match will be of 6 Overs.
- Only 1 bowlers can bowl 2 overs. Back of the hand bowling is not allowed.
- Opening batsmen must be different in each match.
- Every no ball (Fast ball, Overstepping, Height) will result in free hit.
- If the ball goes out of the ground directly in 2/3/4 runs area, then it will be considered as dot ball.
- Six will be only given when the ball strikes the black curtain.
- Run behind stumps will be 1 run in declared form.
- In case ball goes beyond the barricading (flakes) indirectly (bounce), 1 run will be declared.
- If ball gets stuck up in barricading, 1 run will be declared. (On field umpire will take the decision for the same and that will be final)
- Wicket keeper + 1 player’s compulsory behind stumps.
- One Mentor from each team can be on the ground with the players.
- A super over will be played if the match is tied in Semi Final and Final.
- Top 2 Teams from each group Qualify for Finals Bracket After league Matches Completed
- Any specific rule which is not mentioned here will be implemented like last year.
