Auction Rules
  • Total 51000 points will be allotted for each team. If team has selected icon player 10000 points will be deducted.
  • Total 16 teams and each team will play 6 matches (league matches), all teams have to bid for all players there will be one player prior auction.
  • Each Team will consist 10 Players and 9 Players have to play every match.
  • Two Groups Of 8 Teams will be made. Each will play 6 matches in their group. Before auction and team group allotment schedule will be announced.
  • Minimum base value of player will be 700 points. And for each player the minimum biding will be 100 points respectively.
  • Every Franchisee owner can have a maximum of 3 auctioneers at the auction table, and they cannot be replaced once the seat is occupied.
  • Every Franchisee is requested to bring a laptop with latest software integration. The laptop should reach the venue by 1 hour earlier before the auction start.
  • A “WILD CARD” will be provided to each franchisee owner which can be utilized once. The ‘WILD CARD” will allow a Franchisee Owner to start Re-bidding immediately for a player which is already sold to XYZ Franchise. In this case, only two Franchisees will carry on the auction, a) Franchisee to whom a player has been sold out & b) Franchisee willing to use “WILD CARD”.
  • Once the player is sold to XYZ team, player cannot be transferred to any other team.
  • For auction player sequence will be decided by chits.
Matches Rules
  • Each match will be played of 8 overs and maximum of 9 players on field. One player compulsory will field behind the stumps. (Except wicket keeper)
  • First power play needs to be taken between 1st and 3rd over by the bowling side. Second power play over needs to be taken by batting side in between 4 and 6th over, bowler can be changed by bowling team, after the decision of power play over by batting side. Only one player can stand behind power play line during power play over.
  • Maximum Three players can stand behind the power play line except power play over.
  • If The Ball Hits Directly to The Fence (2D Or 4D) That Will Be Declared As 2D Or 4D. And If the Ball Goes Without Touching The Fence (2D Or 4D) That Will Be Declared As Out.
  • Matches will be played with double tennis. (Vicky ball)
  • 2 points will be allotted for a win.
  • Water break will be given after 4 over only for 2 Min.
  • Each team will be given time schedule for their matches.
  • All team should be present on ground 20 min before match.
  • If the Speed gun malfunctions it will be considered as dead ball (if any query raised by the player on field).
  • Bonus Point:
    • If score is chased in 6 or less overs, 1 point extra will be awarded.
    • If opponent team is bowled out less than 75% of the total score than 1 point extra will be awarded.
  • Rotation Rules : If every player of each team plays minimum of 4 matches till group stages and each team should change their opening batting pair for every league match, then the team will be allotted with 2 extra points as bonus. If any player from team not available to play for genuine reason than committee will provide a committee player and it must be informed at least 3 hours prior to committee.
  • Bonus point and rotation point will be calculated at the end of group stage matches.
  • Umpire decision will be last decision.
  • Fast bowling is not allowed. There will be speed gun with speed limit of 82. Exceeding speed limit will be called a NO BALL.
  • If points are same, teams will advance by “NET RUNRATE” basis.
  • As per scheduled time every team must be present on field, failing this will be declared as a BYE.
  • If match stops due to any reason, it will resume from the same situation. (No toss or rematch)
  • In case if match is TIE each team will be allotted 1 point each, till group stages. After group stage if match is tie than there will be super over, if super over will be tied then there will be another super over.
  • Our ground committee members will take final decision if disputes on the field. [If a player takes any aggressive objection or makes any misbehaviour in between the match; and it is in oppose of committee and umpire then that player will be dismissed for whole Series/Tournament]
  • All teams should be in dress code for the matches compulsory. Shoes (without spike)and black pant are compulsory.
  • Every no ball of a match will make next ball as a free hit ball. No ball (height, line touch, fast, field restriction).
  • Only RUN OUT will be given for free hit. (Note: Stumping will be declared as not out).
  • Maximum 3 players can bowl 2 overs in a match.
  • Bowler should bowl within the prescribed box, if a bowler foot touches line, it will be considered as no ball. A particular box will be drawn on the ground.
  • The runner will be allowed only for the injured player which will be decided by the COMMITTEE MEMBERS. At a time only One Runner will be allowed.
  • Strike will not be changed for catch out.
  • Jpl committee can add any rule further for the betterment of JPL.
  • OBJECTIVE OF THIS TOURNAMENT IS COMPLETELY FOR GATHERING AND ENTERTAINMENT. IT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO COMPETE IN A SPORTING WAY.
  • Owner will be solely responsible for the player’s behaviour if any player commits repeatedly misbehaves then the team will be banned from the remaining tournament.
  • No fireworks are allowed in the ground or nearby the ground premises.
  • If any player has any discrepancies or complaints they should be routed through only the team owner to the committee no individual team players complaints will be entertained by the committee.
  • Any nuisance or aggressive behaviour will not be entertained.The committee reserves all the rights to ban the player and also can minus withnegative point for the team point table if found guilty.
